First Reported Case of COVID-19 in Granite County
Granite County had its first positive case of COVID-19 in the community this week. Granite County Medical Center, our outpatient clinics, laboratory and radiology departments are here for you. We are SAFE - OPEN - READY to meet your health care needs. If you are directly exposed to someone confirmed positive with COVID-19, immediately quarantine yourself from others and call your health care provider Exposure is defined as >15 minutes of contact within 6 feet of distance. GCMC will begin offering State sponsored COVID-19 testing to anyone without symptoms on Wednesday, July 1st in Philipsburg and Tuesday, July 7th in Drummond. Testing will be conducted in a drive through style, outside of the clinics, so patients do not need to enter the facility. The Philipsburg Clinic will offer testing on Wednesdays and Thursdays, July 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, Drummond Clinic will offer testing on Tuesdays, July 7, 14, 21, 28. Additional days will be added as needed. Testing hours: 9am to 4pm on the specified dates The cost is covered by the State of Montana, DPHHS

Thorough and frequent hand washing is critical
Avoid close contact keeping a distance of at least 6 feet if possible
Wear cloth face coverings in public where social distancing is difficult to maintain
Disinfect frequently touched surfaces
Sneeze or cough into a tissue, handkerchief, or your elbow
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
